Another full house at the Festival Inn were treated to a fantastic night of 50's & 60s music.
The night started with the talented duo 'Teenager in Love' who had the crowd in their pockets from the second they came on stage. Their act included wonderful renditions of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?, Runaway, Runaround Sue & Shout. The dancefloor was full of people dancing which included some very impressive jivers.
'Sherry Baby' came on to rapturous applause and soon had the audience singing and dancing to classics such as Walking My Way Back To You, Big Girls Don't Cry, December '63 (Oh What a Night} and Rag Doll. The audience didn't want them to leave the stage and were still shouting for more after the stage lights had gone down and the normal room lights were on.
Everyone I spoke to said that they had a great time and the artists were brilliant and I must admit I couldn't disagree with them.
