





The guests were given a real VIP welcome to to the Festival Inn by the smartly dressed welcomers from the VIP Cabaret Club. They were then escorted to their nicely lit reserved table.
The night started with a short set from the compare Selena. This gave the audience an idea of the high quality entertainment they would be looking forward to.
Cruise ship and West End star Jay Harrison took to the floor with his songs from the shows set. This included classics from stage and film including Time Warp and a rousing rendition of New York New York and even an amazing operatic version of Phantom of the Opera.
Next on stage was top Blackpool entertainer Helen. She got the audience singing and dancing from the start with a range of ballads, soul and disco songs. Even a short stop for a problem with her equipment didn't quench the audience's thirst for this wonderful singer. She left the stage to the sound of a deserved appreciation, massive applause and the people shouting for more.
There was a brief intermission for a raffle with some impressive prizes and so everyone could refill their glasses.
Last to appear was the top UK Blondie tribute, Blondied. The four piece band were very tight and were a perfect accompaniment to the Debbie Harry soundalike and lookalike Michelle Hendricks. All of the Blondie classics were covered, including Denis, Atomic, Hanging on the Telephone and The Tide is High.
A great end to another great night with VIP Cabaret at the Festival Inn.
The next VIP Cabaret is not to be missed. A full night of classic songs and nostalgia with two excellent shows, Sherry Baby's covering music by Frankie Vallie & the Four Seasons and rock 'n' roll memories in a 50s restaurant with Teenager in Love on February 27th 2026.
